THIS CAR HAS SOLD 1940’s-1950’s Fuji wooden handmade tether race car. Jiro Shimatani designed and built three different tether race cars for Fuji. The Midgetee, the Dat and the New Star, all were gas powered open wheel race cars. The Dat Prince Midget is the slightly smaller wooden version at 9 1/2 inches and was sold in kit form with instructions. Some US soldiers purchased these cars during the second WW war and the Korean conflict. This is how a limited number of these car made it to the US as they were not sold here. This nicely constructed car features a FUJI .099 gas engine, fuel tank, needle valve four good wheels/tires, detailed original instructions, and a spare tire.
