Autoart 1:18 CHevrolet Corvette SS race car Sebring 12 hr. There were 4 Corvettes entered in 1957, this was the only Magnesium Bodied, featuring a 377 cu, in 310 HP horse power. The other three more stock Corvettes finished 12th, 15th, and 16th. The SS suffered rear suspension problems. This was the early start of Corvette Racing but was soon to be halted in June of 1957 when all American Car makers opted out of Auto Racing. This was short lived and Dutov set speed records at Daytona Beach on the Sand and a lap speed of 155 MPH. a new record at the Newly Built Daytona Speedway. This beautiful car is in original Box and SHIPS FAST AND FREE IN US.
