 Mario Andretti legendary race driver helmet. This beautiful mini helmet is new in original display case. Case is 1 1/2 in x 2 1/12 in. Great display piece for a desk or man cave decorative item. Andretti set fastest time at Indy in 1975 at 189.404. However it was on the 3rd day of qualifying as he was overseas racing in the Belgium GP on pole Day. He started 19th and finished 8th. Mario’s great driving career spanned four decades 60’s-70’s-80’s-90’s. He won Indy in 1969 and went on to win the F 1 Worlds Driving Championship in 1978. Mario also won 4 Indy Car titles, 1967 Daytona 500, Daytona 24, Sebring 12, F1 Grand Prix, and IROC. His last Indy Car victory came in 1993 but he is active in Andretti Racing to this day at 78.
