1979 Lotus 79 Ford driven by Mario Andretti in 1:18 Scale Argentina GP.to 5th place. This beautiful MCG car is new in original Box and is about 9 in. long. SHIPS FAST AND FREE IN US. Mario won 6 F1 Grand prix races during the 1978 racing season. This made him the Second American to win the title following Phil Hill in 1961.1979 was not good to Mario. The new Lotus 80 did not work well and he wound up in last years model. He won 12 Grand Prix races over a 14 year period. Andretti was one of the best all around race drivers and the Greatest driver of his Era.
