Description

SOLD: 1940’s Fournier Offy Midget race car, hand made with real race-car-style construction. This very limited, 17-inch-long model was built to order in the 1990s by racing fabricator Ron Fournier, and all examples were unpowered. This example is serial number 241 and includes a certificate of authenticity.

Ron’s career spanned more than 30 years. He first demonstrated his fabrication skills with Holman and Moody in 1964, later worked on Trans Am and Can Am cars at Penske Racing, and went on to work at A. J. Foyt’s Indy shop. In 1991, Ron opened his own shop and later taught the art of metal fabrication.
