GMP 1960’s Rodger Ward Dirt Champ race car in original box with COA in 1:18 scale. This beautiful 9 in. long white race car is in very good condition in original box. The hood removes to reveal the potent Offy 255 cu. in. engine. Rodger was a P 38 pilot in WW 2. He started racing midgets in 1946. His first race at Indy 500 was 1951. In 1959 Ward joined Leader Card racers a team with Bob Wilke and AJ Watson and they were know as the 3 W’s. Ward won his first of two Indy 500’s and the USAC Championship.
