1965 Shelby Cobra 427 SC #198 race car driven by Dick Smith. The racing graphics in 1:18 diecast by Acme. The SC stands for Semi- Competition car. This #198 stands for its record speed recorded at Daytona 198 MPH. It also is credited for winning more races (in SAAC) than any other Cobra. It is now located in the Riverside Automotive Museum and is valued at  2 Million $. sIt was the first Cobra win for Shelby Racing. This beautiful 9 in. long red car has a side exhaust, authentic racing graphics and is new in original display box. The car started out in 1962 as an AC Cobra made in UK and shipped to Shelby with no drive train. Shelby approached Chevy for engines but GM turned him down not wanting competition for their Corvette. He decided on Ford and eventually went to the 427. The Shelby Cobra Daytona made its debut in 1964.  6 of the aerodynamic cars were built for Daytona 24, Sebring 12, and Le Mans 24.
