1981 Porsche 035 K4 race car #00 driven by Danny “on the gas” Ongais in 1:18 scale by Werk 83. This beautiful race car is about 9 in. long in original box. Danny started in Drag Racing and then all types of race cars and even motorcycles. He was always fast thus the nickname by had a lot of tuff luck over the Years. He suffered a horrible firey crash at Indy in1981but he never gave gave up. Raced ay Indy 500 3 times 6 Formula 1 races and countless Sport car events. 1978 was his most successful in Indycar when he won 5 races. He was respected by all and a good friend and we will always miss him. Danny was the only Hawaiian to compete at Indy and the only Driver to have won thr NHRA US Nationals and the Daytona 24. He was inducted into the Motorsports Hall of Fame and the Hawaiian Sports Hall of Fame in 2000 and 2001.SHIPS FAST AND FREE IN US.
