Removable panels reveal the engine details

Description

This 1:18 scale Replicarz die-cast model recreates the 1967 STP Paxton Turbine Indy 500 race car driven by Parnelli Jones. Finished in red, it represents the turbine-powered Indycar from Jones’s 1967 Indianapolis 500 run.

The model is part of the Indycar series and is suited to display or a racing collection. Often remembered as the famous race car that never won the Indy 500, the original car was qualified by Jones in sixth place at 166.075, took the lead early, and retired with fewer than eight miles remaining because of a transmission bearing failure.

New in the original box, the car is approximately 10 inches long and includes removable panels that reveal engine details. Recommended for ages 17 and up.
