Floyd Clymer safety racing crash helmet from the 1940-50’s racing era size small. Very good condition leather is exceptional for its age. Clymer was known for his Automotive Publishing magazines from 1930-70 but was involved in promoting safety also. His helmets were made in France and received many US safety awards for his efforts. Many police departments and race drivers used his helmets in the 40’s and 50’s. Copies of vintage ads and foam display head included, leather is good for its age, SHIPS FAST AND FREE.
