1947 Indy 500 Mercedes W163 #46 Duke Nalon 2nd fast Qualifier Revival 1:20 Italy

1947 Indy 500 Mercedes W163 driven by Duke Nalon in 1:20 metal scale by Revival Models. A nice 8×10 labeled display stand is included. Casadio was the forerunner in Metal race car kits and later became Revival both located in Italy. The Italian design and details in 1:20 metal cars is second to none. Duke qualified at second fastest speed 128.082 but had to start 18th as it was not the first day of Qualifying. The car Entered by Cadillac Dealer Don Lee burned a piston in practice and they were able to make a piston and qualify after Day 1 Pole Day. On lap 119 running in the top 10 the new piston failed and the car finished 16th. This is a very nice build of a hard-to-find metal car that is 8 in Long. A labeled acrylic Display Stand is included.
