Exoto 1963 Chevy Corvette Grand Sport Coupe race car #65 driven by Pabst / Cannon in 1:18. This beautiful 9 in. long race is in original box in Mecom Racing blue. Hood and doors open to reveal details and the potent 377 in, engine 550 HP. Chassis #3 saw a lot of action at Nassau driven by Jim Hall in the qualifying race finishing third behind Thompsons #80 Grand Sport. Augie Pabst finished 4th in the Governor’s Cup Race. Cannon drove the car to 8th place in The Nassau Trophy race. All 3 of the Grand Sports suffered rear end cooling problems. A side story, GM had cancelled the GS program but it seems several Chevy Racing engineers took a “vacation” in Nassau at the same time they had a race. SHIPS FAST AND FREE IN US.
