1969 Chaparral 2H race car driven by John Surtees in Cam Am in 1:43 scale by Minichamps. Very good condition in original gift box. The 2H Chaparral was a race car concept the World had never seen before Technically and Aerodynamically it was total different. It was the first full monocoque chassis ever and the chassis doubled as the body shell. Chassis components were fabricated in Pre-preg, a brand new glass fiber reinforced plastic. The components were bonded together to become one and the entire structure was cured in an oven. It was tested and raced by John Surtees as Jim Hall was in a wheel chair from an accident. The car never met expectations.
