Description

1969 Chaparral 2J race car driven by Jackie Stewart in Can-Am competition, reproduced in 1:43 scale by Minichamps. The model is in very good condition and comes in its original gift box. The Chaparral 2J was an unconventional racing-car concept, technically and aerodynamically distinct for its time. Its full monocoque chassis also served as the body shell. Chassis components were fabricated from pre-preg glass-fiber-reinforced plastic, bonded together, and cured in an oven. Jackie Stewart tested and raced the car while Jim Hall was recovering from an accident. The car did not meet expectations. Please check photos as they are part of the description.
