Description

1955 Jaguar Type D Long Nose race car driven to victory by Hawthorne / Bueb at Le Mans. New in box in CMR 1:18 scale. This British Racing Green race car is approximately 8 inches long. This was the year of the Le Mans crash that killed 83 spectators and driver Pierre Levegh. Mercedes withdrew during the race and left racing for several years. Safety regulations improved and racing continued. Please check photos as they are part of the description.
