car was lower, smaller, and much more “racey” looking than ours. After several inspection tries he never could get the car passed and went home with 32 violations. He drove the car back to his garage in Daytona Beach. I think he did run a few races in 67 and 68 and it never one. However, he did set 266 land speed records at several locations including the Bonneville Salt Flats with three Camaros with small block and big block engines.
