    This car is sold   1984 Indy 500 winning Penske race car by Carousel 1 in 1:18 scale driven by Rick Mears. Car only out of original box for photos. A real collectors item, this 10 inch race car is new colorful and highly detailed including COA and extra set of mirrors and shipping tie downs. Boxes show very light storage wear. This was the second of 4 Indy wins for Mears as he also won in 1979-88-91. The year had a good start for Rick but 3 months later he suffered sever leg injuries in Sanair. Mears got his first ride with Penske when he filled in for Andretti when he went overseas for F1 races. Rocket Rick retired from driving in 92 but is still an important member of Penske Racing.
