1973 Porsche 917/30 Can Am race car driven by Mark Donohue owned by Rodger Penske and sponsored by Sunoco. This great Minichamps 1:18 race car is approx 11 inches long and is beautifully detailed and colorful with EXOTO box ( not correct box) and has been sold out and retired. The 1973 Can Am Series consisted of 8 races. Mark and this car dominated and won 6 of the 8 races run and the Championship. Sadly Mark was killed 2 years later in a Formula 1 practice crash at the Austrian Grand Prix. The 1500 horsepower car was billed as one of the greatest Can Am race cars in history.
